[SOLVED] Setting gtk2/3 theme in 64bit install and 32bit chroot

I'm running Arch x86_64 and also have a 32bit chroot environment from where I run my company's email client. I can successfully set the gtk2/3 theme via lxappearance (and am using the zukitwo-themes package from AUR), but if I do it in the native 64bit environment, the applications running in the chroot default to what looks like the Raleigh theme (the Windows 3.1 look alike). If I use lxappearance from the chroot, applications in the chroot look fine, but the 64bit environment gets defaulted to Raleigh.

Since the home folder is shared, I'm a bit perplexed as to why the same files aren't sufficient to set both correctly.

Thanks for any tips!

Re: [SOLVED] Setting gtk2/3 theme in 64bit install and 32bit chroot

Bumping. Also asked same question on unix.stackexchange.com... and not getting any feedback.

Please advise with respect to a better way (setting theme via lxappearance separately in both 64bit install and chroot) as well as where to look for 1) why setting the theme in one would affect the other and/or 2) why, since the settings files are all in ~/, both environments would not use the same theme... Thanks!

Re: [SOLVED] Setting gtk2/3 theme in 64bit install and 32bit chroot

Stupid mistake, as usual. I swore I had the same Zukitwo theme packages installed in my 64bit install as well as the 32bit chroot. Not the case! Once I double checked just now and realized it, a simple install of the same theme package in the chroot from AUR (zukitwo-ob and zukitwo-themes) worked just fine. Didn't even have to re-set via lxappearance since, as I thought, the settings in my home directory for gtk settings .config files were picked up automatically. Sorry for the noise. Marking solved.
