That's no solution to your specific problem, but you might possibly want to try out the new Android-Studio, that Google developed and uses from now on. (I'm not sure whether support for the Eclipse Add-Ons will continue, and if so, how long.) Android-Studio is based on the Java IDE "Intellij Idea" from NetBrains. This whole Eclipse-Android shit is terrible to set up (at least on most average Linux systems), Android-Studio is much easier to maintain/administrate/install/update and works out-of-the-box if once installed from the AUR:
[you@yourpc ~]$ sudo $yourAURhelper android-studio
[sudo] password for you:
1 aur/android-studio 0.1-7 [installed] (58)
A new Android development environment based on IntelliJ IDEA.
