New to archie.. anyone please howto use the abs crap to compile the kernel..
I can do the manual way but would really like to learn this as well.
I have edited the pkgbuild text file as it said in the wiki, and it says install the package as usual.. wtf how is usual for the newb?

The "usual" way is to read the copious amounts of documentation that can be found on the wiki and in the man pages. Everything you need to know is right there. However, I will stress, as I have done before, that building a kernel for your first ABS mission is a bit OTT but each to their own!
Mainly you need to read about makepkg and Arch Build System
