What plugin is missing for the new Google Maps

Hello.

My friend uses Ubuntu and wants to know why I can get all the new features of the new Google Maps while he can't. I don't know. Maybe there are some plugins for Arch not available for Ubuntu? We both use Chrome.

Do you know?

google-chrome is not in the official repos, see what the package you're using (from the AUR or from an unofficial repo) depends on and compare with the Ubuntu one. Are you using the same version of Google Chrome?

What features are missing for him? They may not be plugin-related, but e.g. location-relate

We use the same version. He does not see the 3D version of maps, the Google Earth style.
