CD drive tray opens by itself

Hi,

I've been using Arch Linux for a year now and since very beginning as I remember, my ThinkPad T400 randomly opens CD tray.

Has anyone experienced similar behaviour?

I wonder, is it possible it's relate to this issue confiirmed in udev for Ubuntu?

I sort of have seen it. I have an iMac 4G with Mac OS X version OLD on it. The disc tray will sporadically eject on its own, sometimes more often than others. I just assume it's old or broken hardware.
