[SOLVED] UEFI Dual Boot Arch Linux and Windows 7

Hey guys
I searched a lot but I can't find anything good...
Isn't it possible to dual boot UEFI Arch Linux and Windows 7 using rEFInd? I just have to use GRUB 2?
I use GPT HDD, am I supposed to use a 512 MiB FAT32 EFI partition for both OS...?

You should read the wiki, all your questions are answered there. Only one EFI partition is needed, it's read by the firmware when starting the boot manager. Several boot managers and loaders are supported, check the wiki for details.

What it's not explained is that some GPU are not compatible with the way kernel wants to boot.
If I start by UEFI my display will go black after the GRUB menu.
I'm talking about Asus G75VX, in particular.

EDIT
For my case I solved by modifying an option in the xorg.conf.

    Option         "UseDPLib" "off"

Now I can let UEFI to startup my PC.

You should read the wiki, all your questions are answered there. Only one EFI partition is needed, it's read by the firmware when starting the boot manager. Several boot managers and loaders are supported, check the wiki for details.

I understand if the OP is saying those wiki pages are pretty confusing.
It took me like 5 attempts to install everything correctly.
Besides that, many pc's work a bit different with UEFI. (f.e. my pc has an older version of UEFI and doesn't have all features / support everything.)

Anyway, yes, you can dual-boot win7 and arch with both rEFInd and GRUB2-efi.
and no, you don't need a EFI partition for every os, they just use a separate directory in the EFI partition.
