Unerasable files on ntfs partition

hi all!

i tried to erase my Windows.old folder from an old installation but it seems to be impossible even with ntfs-3g and rw support. "Operation not supported"
I can create and delete files and folders except those files in the Windows.old folder.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Re: Unerasable files on ntfs partition

Can you delete any sub-folders or files from it? Can you rename the folder?

Re: Unerasable files on ntfs partition

Since I doubt you have Windows anymore, you can try booting Hiren's BootCD and using that to delete the folder.
