My lightdm configuration is
run-directory=/run/lightdm
greeter-session=lightdm-razor-greeter
session-wrapper=/etc/lightdm/xsession
autologin-user=andrew
autologin-user-timeout=0
pam-service=lightdm-autologinLightDM is from the repos and is 1:1.6.0-4
All that happens is that the log in screen is offered.

Have you solved this? You have to be in the autologin group, as stated in the wiki.
Create the group, then add the desired user to that group.
# groupadd autologin
