Xen DOM0 fails to boot

Hi Everyone,
I recently installed xen according to the instructions here

However, when i try to boot into the xen kernel, I get the following error:
elf_xen_note_check: ERROR: Will only load images built for the generic loader or linux images.

Any ideas why this might be?
