[solved] Java crashing after update

Hello I made the upgrade of the system (after the /bin /sbin merge) just today and after it java (openjdk 7) crashes.

I tried to run jdownloader but java crashed apparently there's an issue related with libbsd

The log running jdownloader
Another log running freecol 0.17 just to be sure.

I have installed openjdk6-compat and it seems to be fine. I tried freecol and just run.

Some packages installed
extra/jdk7-openjdk 7.u40_2.4.0-1
extra/jre7-openjdk 7.u40_2.4.0-1
extra/jre7-openjdk-headless 7.u40_2.4.0-1
extra/libbsd 0.5.2-1

And from aur jdk6-compat 6u45 release 6

Any ideas?

Thanks everyone.

Edited

There is an issue with libbsd downgrading to libbsd-0.4.2-1 solves the problem, thanks.

Edit 2

In libbsd-0.5.2-2 it's fixed, just update libbsd to the newest version available.

Thanks to everyone.

Re: [solved] Java crashing after update

no problems on my system with freecol (start, load savefile, exit) and those versions.

Maybe the problem is caused by whatever calls libbsd ?

just a hunch, but do you use samba / cifs ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

(A works at time B)  && (time C > time B ) ≠  (A works at time C)

Re: [solved] Java crashing after update

Yes I do.

I use samba and cifs. But the problem is trigged by a specific libbsd version, so I suppose there is a problem with it. Also I should note my system it's x86_64.

Other guy just confirmed that he had the same problem https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/35835 and is not only associated to freecol nor jdownloader only.

As far I know Eclipse, netbeans, jdownloader, freecol and jitsi.

Libreoffice works well. But yeah, it looks specific to applications related with networking.
