I'm currently using gvim.
I have enable the syntax highlight function by :syntax enable.
But I find it only display in a single color. What's wrong?
I'm sure my cpp.vim file is not broken.

Can you provide a screenshot of this behavior?
Make sure to set your colorscheme - ":colorscheme desert" is a good one. So is inkpot.
See if that helps.

Thank I finally found that it's my fault, but I cant told you because my school cut off the network when mid-night comes.
I made a mistake in comment-lines.
I didn't notice that there was a white-blank between my close tag, like this
* /
So the highlight was in a single color.

I find every *.vim files include colorscheme files and syntax files etc. are all vim scripts. I can put command into them.
I put one line to the cpp.vim file to set the background to dark brown, looks perfect!
