Hi, I reinstalled Arch and I whant to put a KDE global menu in top of screen in a panel and I installed plasma-globalmenu-mod but I can't see it in plasmoids list, I follow this steeps:
-I download the trabal and unzip it
-Modify PKBUILD and put "export CXXFLAGS="$CXXFLAGS -lQtXml"" before the cmake
-makepkg
-pacman -U plasma-globalmenu-mod-0.21-2-any.pkg.tar.xz
-modify ~/.bashrc and put "export GTK_MODULES=golbalmenu-gnome" at the end
-make "globalmenu" execte at the system start
I try to add xBar and the global menu there is nowhere...
I try plasma-globalmenu with the same steeps
what am I doing wrong?
Thanks alot ^^
I use KDE and I start it with kdm
If I run "globalmenu" in a console sometimes it shows me something like this:
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty)
Resource id: 0x200400f

You don't need to install any plasmoid, KDE 4.10 has native appmenu support. You only need to install appmenu-qt (and appmenu-gtk if you want it to work with GTK apps) and configure it in systemsetting -> application appearance

Thank you ^ ^ but I prefer that the global menu is always visible, but I can't stand if I install this global menu it must appear in plasmoid list, no?
