If possible, could someone package this?

Re: OpenFrameworks PKGBUILD Request

Learning is a process of doing. Have you tried making a PKGBUILD for it yet? Why not give it a go, post what you get as far as you can get it, and then all of us can help you out? That is, after all, the way this section is supposed to work smile

All the best,

Re: OpenFrameworks PKGBUILD Request

I may give it a try when I find some time. I've only supported  PKGBUILD in the AUR once -- the blender hair particles build a couple of years ago. I based that off an existing PKGBUILD. But if I can find the time, I may try to do a PKGBUILD.

Thanks!

Re: OpenFrameworks PKGBUILD Request

From what I can tell, this is one of those programs that is meant to be built and run in your home dir, not something that gets installed. Not really something a PKGBUILD can do much with.

Do NOT run the ArchLinux scripts they include. They run pacman -Sy, which is bad. Take a look at the scripts and install the packages yourself if you need them. Run the compileOF.sh and compilePG.sh scripts and you should be up and running.
