Did you added Shadowhand repo
[shadowhand]
Server = http://archpkg.wgilk.com/shadowhand to your pacman.conf? You'll also need to run:
pacman -Sy
to get/update the db.

I know what you mean, but I can't fix it because xfmedia is broken in svn right now... ![]()

Attempting to obtain a pkg from shadowhand. Pacman.conf has added shadowhand data but pacman asks for refresh.
I enter...pacman -S gimpshop... and the system requests...Have you tried refresh yet?
What to do?>

How stable's Gaim2.0.0b1?
It's only crashed on my once in 3 days of use. (I was doing something weird with aliases when it happened, not just normal use.)

I have some trouble compiling the xfce4-battery-plugin agains your xfce packages.
When I run ./Autogen.sh I get:
checking for XFCE4_PANEL... configure: error: Package requirements (xfce4-panel-1.0 >= 3.99.2) were not met.
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
I've tried to set the path by hand but it didn't help. And it looks like your package dosn't suply a xfce4-panel-1.0.pc file (or shoudn't it? I got a bit different error earlier, claiming that it lacked the *.pc)
Any hints?

You can't use old modules with the SVN, the whole panel and plugin architecture has been changed.

It's not realy an old module. It's taken from the svn snapshot. There are several others that run the same module on xfce4-svn (altho, not on arch)

xfce4-panel-1.0.pc definately belongs to the 4.2.x panel, not the svn one [ it is libxfce4panel-1.0.pc in that]. Can you try re-fetching the source for the plugin?

The trunk will be broken for a couple of months, so it's better to use branches/stable/. That is the last "working" trunk.

You can find the unofficial ported plugins here. These are compatible with the new panel framework.

Many thanks for your excellent repo Shadowhand, it's very much appreciated Smile
Sadly the gaim-cvs pkgbuild is not accessible; the link is incorrect. Do you mind fixing this and posting here when it's ready?
Cheers

It's not accesible for some weird reason. It's a bug in APRV that I still have to track down and fix.

Here is a newer version of the clipman plugin, 0.6.2. It's not on Jaspers unofficial plugins but I've uploaded it here.
And since I'm the writer of this plugin, i can tell you it's worth trying 8)
