Hi everyone,
i am a newbie who is trying his hands on Debian GNU/Linux "sarge" ( i have completely abondoned "proprietary softwares" after reading "The GNU project"). I have installed all the GNUstep libraries, desktop etc. . I am using GDM. Even after installation of GNUstep it does not show any signs into GDM. as usual GDM only has KDE, GNOME & failsafe sessions. I am not able to know how to "put" GNUstep into GDM?
I only want to start using GNustep desktop. May you help me please on how can i do this?
thanks

First of all, this is a forum for Arch Linux not Debian. So you would probably get more help on their forums instead of ours.
http://forums.debian.net
http://www.debianforums.com/
LinuxQuestions.org Debian forums
Secondly, I would look for a configuration program or file for gdm. Other than that, I don't know enough to be of any real help.
Sweet, now I can play with myself.

Never used either debian or gdm, but probably you will need to create a .desktop file in a location similar to /etc/X11/sessions
....just my two cents

You could always try asking in linuxquestions.org. They've got a Debian-specific forum.
