Like title says when I complete the dropbox setup it crashes with this message:
The program 'dropbox' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 23191 error_code 8 request_code 70 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Informations;
DE: KDE SC
Kernel: Linux-pf 3.9.5
WM: KWin_gles
GPU: Intel Hd4000
I tried to disable desktop effects or to use regular kwin no change...
Anyone has a clue?

Have you tried using dropbox-cli?

Can I register with it?

Probably not. Is there a reason you can't just register on the dropbox site?

Cause, you have to register your client before syn starts.

You can register from the command line using a text browser.

I can't register my machine so that I can sync this way.

That's how I did it on one of my headless boxes...
