opera+flashplayer twitch.tv

Hi,

I got problem with playing old streams on twitch. I can't use player controls when i have normal stream frame. It's not responding or something when I click to move forward in video it takes forever or it just slow down whole browser. The only fix  I have is to stop the stream put it into full-screen and then change the time. Do you know how to fix it? Is there known solution?

I have no problem with live stream.

Just a suggestion - See if google-chrome from the AUR works. It has its own built in flashplayer which has never given me problems (I am an avid twitch.tv subscriber too). Apart from that, ensure that you have the correct drivers installed for your graphics card. Someone else on the Google+ community had this problem - can't remember where.

Re: opera+flashplayer twitch.tv

Instead of installing google-chome, you could also just install the pepper flash plugin into chromium as well.  That is what is included with chrome.  The only downside to this is that you will end up having to download google-chrome anyway, as the pepper flash plugin is simply extracted from the google distributed chrome binary package.  But if you want to try it in chromium, the package is called chromium-pepper-flash-stable in the AUR.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention exactly why I told you to install google-chrome. It was because of Pepper. You also get other benefits like an mp3/mp4 player and a pdf reader built in the browser, but that is besides the topic.
