Hello,
I'm one of the co-hosts of The Linux Link Tech Show. I recently tried Arch Linux and I really like it. I gave it a little plug on last nights episode:

http://tllts.info/archives/tllts_112-11-30-05.mp3
It's around the 9:38 mark.
I'm trying to get the other guys on the show to give it a try. I think they'll like it since they're hardcore Slackware guys.
I'll post mentions or Arch Linux in the future.
We'd love to have Judd on the show at some point for an interview.
Keep up the good work and take care.
Pat

I've corresponded with Judd and we're definitely interviewing him in the near future. I'll post an update once we get a firm date.

Cool.
Please don't just do a "normal" distro chat though. One of Arch's strengths is its community, and I think it would be great if some of the discussion could go in that direction.

Yeah, interview Skoal too!

LOL
It would be a great show. Although I'm not sure Skoal would do a great deal toward Arch publicity, as the "Why don't you use Arch Linux anymore?" may open a can of worms.

worms...
skoal often refers loving to worm dirt..so...

It just occurred to me, how exactly is this a 'User Contribution'? Unless you mean that publicity is a contribution. I suppose it *could* be, but surely this ought to be in Arch Discussion?

Are you sure Arch's strength is in its community? I think perhaps that is its biggest weakness.

Horses for courses, init?
I've always been impressed, except for that Dusty fellow

I agree with Dusty to an extent. I think the community in general is pretty negative, but there are a few people that make the "community" very positive. AUR is very positive as well.

I happen to like this community. Most communities are filled with even more idiots. Atleast here you more often than not get decent response.
(Wee! 100 posts!)

At least it isnt one of the communities that doesnt go "why didnt you rtfm rtffaq and rtfxyx before?" or "giyf" or "rtfman apt"
Not hinting at any in particular of course

Ah oh - this was nearly the welcome greeting of sarah31 in response of my first posting as arch n00b. "To lazy to read and move fingers, pal?" and such.
Made me even tougher, sniff.

Judd has agreed to come onto to the show on February 8th. I'll post a reminder a few days before the interview.

I've converted Dan (one of my co-hosts) over to Arch:

We talk about Arch Linux at approximately 105:10.
