[Solved] Framebuffer corrup when using UEFI GOP @ full res w/ NVIDIA

Hey guys,

I'm running a UEFI based system using the proprietary NVIDIA drivers.

Since the UEFI bios uses GOP I'm able to have a full resolution framebuffer immediately after the rEFInd bootloader starts up, persisting through to the OS.

The problem is, once I login and start X, if I switch back to a VT from X I will see corruption on the lower part of my framebuffer. Here's a photo demonstrating the problem.

Any ideas?

This appears to have been fixed in one of the recent NVIDA driver updates. Marking as solved! big_smile
