Add a new subforum for Misc issues

Right now I have a strange issue where files I write on a partition are not visible on Windows.

I don't think it fits into any of the Technical Issues and Assistance sections. I'm still going to make the thread, but whatever I choose, it will be the wrong choice because no good choices are available.

Re: Add a new subforum for Misc issues

  1. Why wouldn't that fit into the Newbie Corner?

  2. Is the partition one that Windows recognizes? (For example, if it's an extX partition, Windows will not ever be able to read those files on its own) See the other thread

Re: Add a new subforum for Misc issues

I have a hunch it will fit somewhere.  The question is, what is the root cause?  As we find out, the thread could move from subforum to subforum.   Where is your thread where you ask the question?
