I'm trying to install arch linux in virtual box, now trying to get a GUI.
When I keep trying to get xorg, or even if i pacman -Syu/Syy I keep getting this error:
[frostwind@arch ~]$ sudo pacman -S xorg
error: failed to init transaction (unable to lock database)
error: could not lock database: File exists
if you're sure a package manager is not already
running, you can remove /var/lib/pacman/db.lck
I don't know what to do. Please help.

pacman helps you:
rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lckthen run pacman -Syyu

edit: beaten to the punch.
Glad you have solved your error. You now need to edit the title of your OP so that it reads "[solved]....."

it usually means you have another pacman running. it is safe to delete though assuming you do not have pacman in motion when that is displayed not sure why you would get that.

frostwind, why would you run 'sudo pacman -S xorg'? Please follow the wiki.
If you did install the whole xorg group, remove it and install only the packages you need, just the drivers from your graphics card, not drivers for all the cards.
