Is anyone running an MS Exchange alternative and is satisfied?

I am planning on setting up my own calendaring, contacs and mail software on my server.
There is really a LOT of software to help me reach that goal, though I miss reviews for most of them.
I find interest in the following ones

• Zimbra Community Edition

• Scalix Community Edition

• Citadel

• Open Xchange

Has anyone of you used this or any related software?
I'd be glad if someone gave me a headsup or any other sort of advice, thanks!
