I have Cinnamon up and running just fine, but occasionally the mouse cursor just randomly disappears. I'm using a GTX 650 with the standard nvidia 319.17-1 drivers installed. The only way to fix it is to restart x, restarting only Cinnamon doesn't fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Edit: So, it seems to have magically solved itself... Not sure how.

Alright... I think I figured it out. I have the Logitech G600 mouse, and whenever you press the G7 button twice it disappears. Now, does anybody have ideas why this might happen? All the button does (as far as I know) is sends "B". I imagine it's doing something else weird, though.
Edit: .xsession log: http://ix.io/5M3 (Mouse-related stuff at the end)

Hello, I was wondering if you ever figured out more about this? I'm using a G600 mouse also, but this issue doesn't seem to be button related to me. It happens, so far, when I launch 3 programs: Parole, VLC, and Dwarf Fortress.
I have a post about it, but I'm visiting this one to see if you found out something with the mouse that I haven't yet.

I haven't, sorry . My workaround to the buttons thing was just to unbind them all (in Windows...), but I'm not sure why this mouse and X don't get along.

Strange. I wonder if it's a Cinnamon thing in particular. I'm trying out xfce right now and don't have the issue at all.
