Hi all,
I have an SDHC card that will not mount in my current system, latest -Syu, up to date. The card and reader will mount and read/write under other Linux systems and also under other, live , linux systems on this pc. It also works fine in the camera, Canon 500D.
Here is the latest dmesg output.....

When I plug in a Western Digital USB drive it is recognised and I can mount it through dolphin or the command line without problem.
I read this card earlier in the day and now it does not work on this pc!
HELP!
Simon.

After leaving the card in the reader for an hour or so it showed up as available in Dolphin. It read fine and unmounted cleanly.
Another card also took around 15 minutes before it showed on the system as mountable.
Are there any ways of tracing what is happening? Any commands that will divulge pertinent information?
