Firefox won't start

Hi

Firefox won't show up when run as my normal user anymore. It starts and I can see that it is a running process - but the window doesn't come up. If I run firefox from the commandline I don't get any errors or output at all. Right now I can only run firefox as another user.

Could it be that an update to one of my extensions or something broke it?
What can I do to troubleshoot it?

Thanks

Re: Firefox won't start

Backup your configs:
mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla_bak
and start firefox. It should create a new .mozilla folder. Then, you can compare the working (hopefully) configs with your old configs.

Thanks - that worked. Now I just have to find out what extension killed it.

It happens to me sometimes too, the I just kill all firefox processes and then it helps, but I really dont know why Firefox do that.
