[SOLVED] Low sound after systemd migration

Hi!

After migrating to systemd the volume from the PC is very low.
I use KDE and the volume is at max, the volume from youtube/vlc/whatever too.
I have the speaker nearly at the max too and it sound quite low, like if speaker were near the min

What could have changed?

Re: [SOLVED] Low sound after systemd migration

i am not familiar with kde, but since this post has been lying around for a while, i guess there's no harm in answering...

my guess would be that phonon (kde's sound architecture) sits on top of ALSA.
in that case, it might help if you open a terminal and type 'alsamixer', and see if all relevant sliders are around 90 (the first 4 on my system).
[i don't like to put them to 100 because it seems to produce clipping. again, speaking of my own system]
there might be more settings, alsamixer has a useful user interface.

Re: [SOLVED] Low sound after systemd migration

Sorry for the late answer, I've been travelling and I've just realised that alsa-mixer had one channel really low. That was the problem

Just a stupid thing by my way not to check it the first of all

Thanks
