After resume from hibernation processes run wild

I am using TuxOnIce, and every time I resume from hibernation, I have two processes that continuously take 10-25% of the CPU:

1. syslog-ng  - this one takes nirem and oscillates between 20 and 25%
2. irq/46-mei_me - this one takes between 10-14%, and occasionally branches off into other irq/xx-mei_me processes which have the same behaviour.

I could disable syslog-ng service but that is beside the point. And I have no idea what to do with either.

This does not occur if I use suspend instead of hibernate.
