I just tried upgrading to 3.10.7.1 but found it fails to go beyond the terminal and my slim/xorg setup fails to load. dmesg mentions a vaguely worded nvidia problem (can't remember the exact wording) so I thought maybe downgrading nvidia drivers might be worth a try: so downgraded from 304xx-304.88-15 to *-14, and rebooted but without luck. Reverted to *-15 and downgraded the kernel back to 3.10.6.2 and everything was back to normal. Not sure what the problem was but if any one has experienced something similar and has a fix, please let me know.

i have no problems with my video drivers (intel, opensource), but i'm using acpi_call-git to switch off my radeon card permanently. that doesn't work with 3.10.7.1, while it does with 3.10.6.2. i did reinstall acpi_call-git with each kernel change, and there weren't any errors during compilation or installation. something's wrong with that new kernel...

I'm guessing it's got to do with my nvidia drivers. I think version 304xx-304.88-15 dropped some days ago and may not be updated for 3.10.7-1. May be with some luck *-16 will address it, whenever that drops.

3.10.7-1 is a binary breaker; just rebuilt the nvidia-304xx package against the 3.10.7-1 headers. For some reason a number of packages didn't get rebuilt on this kernel including:
nvidia-304xx: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36553
lirc: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36554
r8168: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36559
Likely more...
