[dibble] repo

PLEASE NOTE:  My repo is in occasional stasis - I am in the Philippines working and I don't have a home internet connection - hence my cvs pkgs are not being updated but they will be again soon!  You will noptice of course that I am still updating my non-cvs pkgs as much as a possible.

Re: [dibble] repo

i am going to add a few cvs/svn apps to my repo.  I'll update these at most fortnightly.  These will include fluxbox-svn and bmp-cvs, which are maintained by punkrockguy but remain un-updated.

Of course the PKGBUILDS will be there to build them yourself.

I also hope to provide a few cvs builds of wesnoth as sometimes there are great commits but a new release takes ages smile

Re: [dibble] repo

added a new gensplashutils and an app called osdbattery which displays your acpi batt data "on top" like an osd display (obviously)

Screenie here

I turn it on and off with a script called osdbatt bound to a key combo:

#!/bin/sh

# osdbattery start/stop script - best bound to a keyboard combo

PID=`pidof -o %PPID /usr/bin/osdbattery`
if [ -z "$PID" ] ; then
    /usr/bin/osdbattery &
    echo $PID > /var/run/osdbattery.pid
elif [ ! -z "$PID" ] ; then
    kill $PID &> /dev/null
    rm /var/run/osdbattery.pid
fi

Re: [dibble] repo

I just noticed the mime-editor in your repo, i've been adding mime types with vim, I didn't realize there was an editor for it... oh well, i'm downloading it now.  better late than never.  thanks for packaging this. i haven't updated my shared-mime-info package in a long time cause i would have lost all my changes. and a patch may have not worked.

Also what is the "read X" in your fvwm pkgbuild for? I compile my custom fvwm and havent come across that configure option.

Re: [dibble] repo

lol - the read X is just the command that holds you till you press a key when running the makepkg - it's nothing to do with the configure smile sorry for any confusion!

i found the MIME-editor to update the mimetypes for Ooo2 but they have now been commited to the cvs version so i just use that instead smile

Re: [dibble] repo

Dibble, your mplayer-cvs package depends on divx4linux, speex and fribidi, which are not listed as dependencies. The PKGBUILD available in AUR doesn't, even when they're the same!! . Sorry i couldn't find the problem, I guess when you compiled it in your computer it took those packages as dependencies??   :?:

Hope this would be usefull. Also hope i posted this in the right place.

Re: [dibble] repo

The problem is still there (I mean, with latest upgrade).
I'll post the whole error message i get when trying to open gmplayer from a console:

gmplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libdivxdecore.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Installing divx4linux:

gmplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libspeex.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Mmmmhhh.... well, i'l try installing speex...

gmplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libfribidi.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

All right, i installed fribidi, and at least it works.
