I installed the minecraft package from the AUR and ran the launcher to update it. Afterward I was trying to update the lwjgl. However, I don't seem to have a ~/.minecraft/bin. And when I run find / -iname lwjgl.jar -print it finds nothing. Is there something new with the latest release to update it? Is it even necessary anymore?
The main reason I was trying to do this was hoping it would help with some very bad FPS/lagginess.

This should help with performance issues: http://minecraftforum.net/topic/249637- … much-more/
I also don't seem to have ~/.minecraft/bin.

~< That refferes to the root of your device.
I think your minecraft folder is in ~/home/YOUR_NAME/.minecraft/bin
Try it if it worked please let me know

Looks like the lwjgl stuff is now in ~/.minecraft/libraries/org/lwjgl
Jeroen)Mathon: ~ translates to your home directory, not the root of a device.

I'm not totally sure about it, but I remember that lwjgl and stuff seem to be updated for you now as well (unless I did misunderstand that message that flashed across my screen).
