Hi!

I installed the base system and than pacman -Sy kde. BTW Internet works and sound too but KDE works very bad. First i run startx and than startkde. KDE open but how:: panel is not integrated in the KDE, there are kicker...
There are too many errors but i cannot use coy=paste. Klipper is there, running but nothing...

Many parts of the base packages have been changed, and also KDE is now at version 3.5.

So get the uptodate versions by killing X and running

pacman -Syu

as root.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Hm. I did instal KDE 3.5.
I will try install Arch again today and I will see. They said that there are choice for Reiser file system. I look but I didn't found it.
As I said tonight one more chance...
