How to debug hard crash?

I have been experiencing periodic crashes, where, apropos of nothing (that I can see), my laptop suddenly powers off and then boots up again. I had assumed it was related to hibernation and to errors that showed up in my logs, so I posted this. To solve the problem, I reverted to an older kernel version; however, I just had the crash happen again, and I don't believe I had hibernated my laptop since last boot.

sudo journalctl -r

yields nothing AFAICT. I am currently running

Linux zuko 3.10.3-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jul 26 11:26:59 CEST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux

.

What steps should I take to debug this? What other logging tools might be relevant?
