Hey guys,
I bought an Acer TravelMate X483-6856 laptop and loving it, everything works well.
The only issue is that the trackpad is disabled on every boot, needing to be enabled via a keyboard shortcut. The keyboard shortcut does generate a `XF86TouchpadToggle` event but generating that event manually doesn't appear to do anything, synaptics also thinks that the touchpad is enabled. I'm worried that it is more of a hardware problem.
Do you guys have and suggestions/guesses. While it isn't a major issue it would be nice to have it fixed.
Thanks, Kevin
