Ripping two CDs, browsing the web and listening to music

... and everything is running smoothly. I would like to think AMD and the lovely CK patchset for this accomplishment (my vanilla kernel just doesn't cut it anymore). Now, I can't wait til' I drop more memory in this thing and compile my first high-mem enabled kernel.

GJ: I'm not really sure b/c I always use my own config file when building the kernel. I disabled high-mem because of an article I read once that stated that for systems with less than 1GB of ram (this is without the 1GB himem patch included in CK) it produced excess cruft in the kernel to enable high memory support. I'm planning on dropping 2GB in this machine sometime next semester and using it as a GIS workstation and then I'll enable high memory support in the kernel.
