[Solved] What happened to amd-ucode?

The Microcode Page still talks about it but it isn't in the repos anymore.  There is an AUR Package that is out of date, and the upstream web-site is missing in action.  I'm trying to work out some DSDT issues and I have one last hope that a microcode update might help.

Edit: amd-ucode is now in linux-firmware

Re: [Solved] What happened to amd-ucode?

It has been dropped from the repos a month ago, maybe because upstream went offline.

Ok, thank you.  I did some more research and it seems my processor, Athlon 64 3500+, is too old to accept microcode updates anyway.  sad  Thanks though. wink

IIRC 'pacman -Ss' used to search the whole output of 'pacman -Si', but 'pacman -Ss amd-ucode' drew a blank.
Thanks, msthev :-)

Re: [Solved] What happened to amd-ucode?

I have linux-firmware installed and grep'ing the dmesg for microcode tells me my CPU is too old for microcode updates.  Thank you though.
