[wiki] - new topic on ufsd

Hi, could we please add a new entry into the Filesystems category for ufsd? There is a AUR package available. I found ufsd to be significantly faster than ntfs-3g on writes to ntfs partitions (~60Mbps vs. 240Mbps).
If thetopic can be added, I am happy to start it off with content.

You need to create a wiki account, as tis' separate from the forum (and the AUR and the bugtracker) one.

Please review.
I wasnt aware I could add a new page. thought the page had to be added by an admin and I could then add content - hence my post here.

Re: [wiki] - new topic on ufsd

I changed a bit of the installation instructions to reflect better and simpler practice.

Wondering why this is named ufsd for something that is ntfs.

"Universal File System Driver" — it does HFS as well.

Oh? That's pretty cool. Too bad it's not FLOSS…

UFS makes me think of *BSD.

Re: [wiki] - new topic on ufsd

I created a dkms version of the ufsd-module package, for obvious reasons. I dont have the bandwidth to maintain it, so have handed it over to the ufsd-module maintainer (Patryck). Hopefully it should be uploaded to the AUR soon. The wiki has been updated to include instructions for the dkms version. (though the link to the ufsd-module-dkms package is broken until Patryck submits the package)

Why would put a broken link in there? Just wait until the package exists.
