Hello,
I have just installed arch linux. My wifi was working when I was using ubuntu and now it doesn't work. I am not sure what can be the problem since my kernel is up to date(I updated) and I don't think newer kernel (than ubuntu 13.04s) would drop the support of my adapter:
lspci gives:
Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)

I've seen a lot of threads about broadcom wireless lately. Have you searched the forums? BCM43142 might be a good search string. ![]()
But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

The forum search also limits the number of queries you can do in a set time period. To overcome this, use Google to search. In Google use:
site:bbs.archlinux.org queryWhere "query" would be "BCM43142"
