Psmouse-alps driver for latest kernel

I have installed arch linux and have configured everything except touchpad multitouch.

I have been ubuntu user and had multitouch with psmouse-alps driver (I don't remeber the version). Now, I can install psmouse 1.3 but just after I modprobe the module, the touchpad stopps working (buttons work though). Has anyboy had that issue? Are you able to have 1.3 version on latest (3.10.9) kernel version?

Have you read through "Troubleshooting" on the Arch Linux wiki page for Touchpad Synaptics?

Well, my touchpad never worked without driver. The only thing I can try from that article is shutting down and turning it on again. That, altough I doubt it is the case, might work.
