"A stop job is running for /mnt"

Hello,

I tried reinstalling Arch alongside Win8 but when I finished the installation, unmounted /mnt and execute the reboot command it got stuck at "A stop job is running for /mnt". I waited a minute or but my laptop didn't reboot so I just did a long press on the power button. When I started the computer, grub says: "ELF header smaller than expected".

Where does this problem come from ? How do I solve it ?

Thanks

PS: no UEFI

Re: "A stop job is running for /mnt"

Please post your partition table and the exact commands you used to install.

When you say "no UEFI", is this a statement of principle or a claim that you are (trying to?) booting in BIOS legacy mode?

Did Windows 8 come pre-installed? If so, you are using UEFI?
