[Solved] QuodLibet / ExFalso 3.0.2 segfaulting

Hello,
I'm kinda clueless about this one and was wondering if anyone else experience this.

$ quodlibet
[1] 4429 segmentation fault (core dumped) quodlibet
$ exfalso
[1] 4439 segmentation fault (core dumped) exfalso
$ pacman -Q quodlibet
quodlibet 3.0.2-1
  • problem occurs for all users, with or without a .quodlibet directory in their home

  • I'm using testing repo

  • QoudLibet's logs are empty

  • I can't find a core file, and not sure what to do with it after I find it

  • I tried reinstalling everything I can think of that has something to do with QL

Can anyone shed a light on this issue? It's been a few weeks and I'm missing my media player... :-/

Thank you

Yeah, that thread doesn't help much.

I had the same problem and solved it by installing python2-cairo. This replaced pycairo-xcb-git for me, which is needed for qtile-git, but since I wasn't using it anymore I installed python2-cairo and can now run quodlibet and exfalso. Yay.
