Re: September 2013 Screenshots thread

I can definitely understand your bspwm evangelism. Resizing tiled windows is way too useful and floating windows have the best behavior out of any tiling wm I've used.

This isn't really a screenshot, but I feel the need to evangalize BSPWM. It is an amazing window manager. I made a screencast showing off some of its features.

@fengshaun: I like the full flat approach; mind sharing the source of your icon set?

Mine hasn't changed a lot since I posted the last time.

fake busy:
dwm, dwb, xfce-terminal (don't know why archey shows 'xterm'), nitrogen, dzenstat...

clean:
The wallpaper is one of many that I cycle through in a 5 minutes interval (dirty script for nitrogen).

Re: September 2013 Screenshots thread

@ayekat: Thanks!  icons and gtk theme are gtk-theme-numix and numix-icon-theme
For firefox, I had to write a stylesheet (load with stylish extension).
change the colors as you see appropriate.

Re: September 2013 Screenshots thread

My first screenshot submission of the forums. Conky, Tint2, and Sakura Terminal on the desktop. Tilda for a pop up terminal. Wallpaper from a friends collection.

Clean : http://i.imgur.com/WKDNtLo.jpg

Dirty : http://i.imgur.com/4SnHrtF.jpg

Any suggestions on what to add on the bottom, I was thinking about adding an rss conky that I already have written or a little dock.

I like it, reminds me of a book I love. But if you let me make a suggestion: get rid of transparency (or just make it more opaque), some of the text is a pain to read and aesthetically it doesn't really add much. Your wallpaper is nice but you don't need to look at it all the time, especially not while you're working.
