Xorg 1.13 [SOLVED]

So I went to fresh install my two machines the other day, not knowing the ARM was down.

And now I'm screwed as both have AMD GPUs.  Any thoughts on getting my hands on xorg-server 1.13 and the related packages are greatly appreciated.

Re: Xorg 1.13 [SOLVED]

You know we have a wiki?

Edit: 12 second win!  …but I didn't link.  Though I'm not sure that a link is necessary in this case.

Man you guys are ******* smartasses.

To think that sort of thing would be in the wiki is actually quite asinine, so why would I have bothered looking?  Clearly I was using a different solution before.

That said, I'm glad it's there.  Thanks anyway.  Quite useful.

You're welcome!

Remember to mark your thread as [solved]. And make sure to search before posting in the future. Thanks. smile

Done.

The once a year I actually need to ask a question I am reminded of why I don't.

Because you get an answer within 2 minutes which points you to the right source?

Of course, if you're expecting great customer service or ego-stroking, you're in the wrong place.

Is it because you remember that searching will find you an answer? wink

Re: Xorg 1.13 [SOLVED]

Actually it's just cos of this:

"Of course, if you're expecting great customer service or ego-stroking, you're in the wrong place."

Or this:

"Is it because you remember that searching will find you an answer?"

I swear folks only answer questions here so they can be smug about it.  Obviously I looked for an answer, or I wouldn't have had my previous solution with the ARM.  I just didn't expect the (useful but quite arbitrary) solution of someone putting up an independent repo and its location being stashed away in the middle of a long wiki article on something else entirely.

I'd probably be here asking questions more than once a year if I was lazy and didn't ever look on my own.  People here like to assume otherwise, even when that is so obviously not the case.

Not sure what's up with that, but whatever.  No big deal.  I got my answer and still appreciate it.

Hey, I was just giving you a smartass response because you proclaimed membors of this forum to be smartasses.  I'd say you were asking for it…
