Hi there again and thanks for taking your time to read this.
Currently I've a problem connecting my Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter (Model: F8T013).
Here my /var/log/messages.log after pluging in the stick

The bluetooth service is started. Unfortunately I'm out of ideas now - any tips?

I'm getting the same hciconfig up output.
Saw this thread https://lkml.org/lkml/2013/6/10/117 - which has a patch at the end of it, but it should be merged in 3.10. I upgraded to 3.11 just in case, same issue.
What's your lsusb output for this device? Mine:
Bus 005 Device 004: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
(whoa it's like i'm actually using a forum, i can even use bbcode)
