Out of boredom I hacked together a little script that uses Enemy Territory to benchmark your system and thought someone may find this useful. Results get automatically submitted to http://nooms.de/etbench/results.php where you can compare your systems results with the results of others. The simplest way to participate is running this command:
wget -q -O - http://nooms.de/etbench/etbench.sh | sh
Well, rock on - I should really get my ubah-machine installed with arch again, and wipe windows/plan9/freebsd off of it...
Then I think I might be able to give your scores a run for their money 8)
I need a GeForce 7800 and 2GB of memory :-(
I'm suprised I beat a faster system.
"The ecological crisis is a moral issue."
From the results on that page, I am curious...
Does the script set a default resolution or anything?
If not how can we tell what resolution the person was using?
If at all possible could the script be updated to include the resolution and maybe even settings that the benchmark was run at?
