[WORKAROUND] [Bluetooth] Will not connect from cold boot

Relevant hardware:
Broadcom BCM4313 WiFI/BT mini-PCIe card [14e4:4727]
Logitech V470 BT Mouse

Kernel version:
3.11.1-2-ck-bobcat (from repo-ck)

Relevant drivers:
broadcom-wl-ck-bobcat (from repo-ck)

Relevant software:
bluez4 4.101-3
bluez-libs 5.8-1
bluez-utils 5.8-1
blueman 1.23-10

WHAT I DID:
>powered on laptop from cold, logged in and started X
>opened blueman-applet
>activared pairing mode on mouse
>cannot start search in blueman, bluetooth device not detected

>reboot laptop and go through same process
>bluetooth device is detected by blueman
>started device search
>mouse appeared in list
>ran setup wizard for mouse (which connects to input service)
>mouse works!
>powered off laptop

>powered on laptop, got to X with blueman-applet running
>no bluetooth device, mouse doesn't connect
>reboot laptop, got to X
>mouse connected!
>...but no connections to the internet work!

>rebooted again
>checked internet connection before X, works
>start X, bluetooth mouse connects too!

This is weeeeird.

As best as I can deduce, wireless works on cold-boots but bluetooth doesn't. Bluetooth works on reboots, and wireless only works if I tried to use it before the laptop tries to use the bluetooth. I've done the mandatory search-engine checking for related terms, but I couldn't find anything similar to this.

Does anyone have any ideas on either what the problem might be, or what kind of things I should try next? Is there any additional information that would be particularly useful?

Re: [WORKAROUND] [Bluetooth] Will not connect from cold boot

Workaround: Replaced wireless adapter with an Atheros AR9485 which works perfectly with the kernel driver ath9k.
