I have Arch Linux with Cups 1.6 and a Samsung ML 2165 printer and SpliX 2.0
I've had this printer for like half a year, just switched to Arch from Fedora. At first i had a hell of a time trying to find the proper driver, then i found it and saved a copy just in case. Seems like everybody has trouble making it work in linux. So i tried to install the same .ppd i used in Fedora and now whenever i try to print something cups shows this message:
stopped
"SpliX Invalid PPD file version: SpliX V. 2.0.0 but the PPD file is designed for SpliX V. 2.0.0"
The printer starts making clip noises, but doesn't work. Any idea what should i check? Thanks in advance.
