[SOLVED] Help diagnosing nVidia video card

I've got a nVidia GT 240 that is producing some glitches on video playback.
Frames that become stuck and have to wait until a full refresh and sometimes, complete freezes.
Also, this happened yesterday:

I use it only for video playback over HDMI to a 47" TV via XBMC.

I would need help troubleshooting it... I tested my ram with memtest86+ and it's fine, so there's nothing else that comes to mind that could be the problem. I don't know how to test a video card, though.

What would you suggest me to do?

Run a benchmark on  it to see if it's a heat issue is what comes to mind right off.  Have you tried using a different video card or the on-board one (if any)?  Hook up the computer to a monitor of some kind & see if that replicates the issues?  Does the X logs say anything or does systemd's journal?

Xi0N.  That is the most useless "solved" I've seen in a while.  What were the "somewhere else" problems and how did you solve them?  Remember, people might be coming to this thread through search engines and if you have a detailed "solved" then you just might help them.

OK: I meant, the problem is not related to the video card, it has nothing to do with the video card, th video card is fine,... if you want to know about what I have been through, you can see it in this thread:

Thank you, you should always state how you solved any thread that you mark as so.  The reason is that people may find your thread using a search engine and if they see "solved" in their search results it gives them a bit of hope to follow the link..
