Hi,
some time ago i posted about my problems using NVIDIA optimus on a Dell L502X laptop: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=166336.
The problem was solved (thanks again) by not using a display manager but startx and .xinitrc.
This solution stopped working some time ago (maybe xorg or NVIDIA update). Now i again only get a blank screen when i start "startx". KDE seems to
start as i can hear a sound but i don't see anything. "xrandr --listproviders" from another shell only shows NVIDIA and not intel. I didn't change the
config files (as shown in other thread).
Has anybody an idea what is going wrong?
