I've got a .mkv file with a video stream encoded with the H.264 codec. I've upgraded my ffmpeg to ffmpeg-cvs and here's what happens:
- Mplayer won't play it:
Starting playback...
[h264 @ 0x85b3be8]QP -24 out of range
Error while decoding frame!
mplayer: h264.c:2306: mc_dir_part: Assertion `pic->data[0]' failed.
- Xine will play it, but there's no video output, just sound.
- VLC, same as Xine.
- ffplay does show me the video, but I can't skip / seek.
When I go back to the old ffmpeg package, I don't even get any video output with ffplay.
Does anyone know how to view this thing?
