EeePC 1005PE: Recent updates broke touchpad On/Off hotkey

Hi,

It's my 1st post here, and I'm not sure about how I would be supposed to report this, as a bug or whatever...

On my EeePC 1005PE, until 3 or 4 days ago, the "Touchpad On/Off" [Fn]-[F3] hotkey was working perfectly.

There have been quite a lot of upgrades recently i.e. kernel, xorg, KDE... and now this hotkey doesn't work anymore.

It doesn't seem to be a kernel issue (booting back into 3.10.10-1 doesn't help), nor a KDE issue - as the hotkey doesn't work anymore in Gnome/Cinnamon either...

So I'm puzzled but would really like to find a way to have this hotkey functional again, for when using an external mouse, the touchpad just allows me to unwillingly move my cursor away while typing, so I like to be able to turn it off...

(The other hotkeys, brightness, Wi-Fi, sound volume... are still working allright.)

Any help appreciated.

TIA.
